I’m pretty sure nearly everyday I’ve tried to wake up early and go to the gym I have failed. At least when it came to going before work. I’m not sure if my body is already in vacation mode or maybe I’m just that tired. I have a feeling it’s a combination of both. My body likes to force rest on me sometimes instead of hinting it needs a break.
Life has also been really busy for me and I feel like the week somehow got away from me. I have this nice to-do list sitting next to me and I have more things on it than time left in the days before I leave. Somehow, someway I will get it all done before I go.
Work has also been busy but in a good way. In the “I love my job”, “I feel valued”, “I feel important”, “I feel necessary” kind of way. It will be interesting to see if and how many phone calls, text messages or emails I receive while I’m away. Thankfully, I don’t have access to work email and therefore, someone would have to go out of their way to send me an email to my personal email. If that happens, I will purposefully spit in that person’s coffee the next time I see them. …kidding?
