Fitness Friday

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather at the BLEND Retreat back in May and I immediately knew we were bound to be friends.  She’s super friendly, energetic and just all around awesome.  And if you found your way here today from her blog, Kiss My Broccoli, well then let me just say hello.  And if you’re reading here as you usually do, make sure to head over to her page today to check out my guest post! Anyway, it’s been a busy and super fun week.  I’m proud to say I survived a 8 day work week (+ meeting on the 9th day) so that I could spend two days with one of the greatest friends in the world: Tracey came to visit me!!

Another thing keeping me busy this week has been pushing through the last bit of my cold and trying to incorporate more yoga into my life.  This has been particularly important as I’m working to achieve a “zen” space and mindset for myself as I gear up and work towards some crazy busy and fun things to come in the next few months. I’m happy to see yoga returning and honestly, with just a couple days I’m already feeling a difference in the way I’m handling and viewing some situations.  (That doesn’t mean there still isn’t a lot of work to do and crap to clear).
