I kind of feel like I’m playing catch up from working so much this week. I have a list of to-dos that aren’t really getting crossed off and every time I try, they only half get crossed off. Like yesterday’s trip to the Target Pharmacy where they only had enough of my prescription left to get me through until Monday…And the call I placed to NASM to get access to the eLearning Center, but I can’t view my class…And the complaint to AT&T about not being able to use my phone as a phone, which now requires a call(?!) – from what phone AT&T? It’s feeling a bit never ending but since I’m back to 4 days next week, I’m hoping I’ll be able to get things crossed off that list!

And of course I’m always thankful for great workouts to help keep me sane but can sometimes be used as multi-task time (ie: study time!).
But I also can’t forget to take a moment to share my gratitude for some amazing people who brought joy to my face yesterday afternoon. I was sitting on the couch trying to stay awake and look into a few things when the door bell rang – it was UPS, with this:

Can I just say how thankful I am my first official race photo isn’t a complete fail? On the contrary, I think it turned out great and even shows how hard I was pushing right at the end! I mean, I did finish 5th (in my age group) after all! Thank you for letting me have a moment to brag.
Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, it’s going to be another busy weekend for me with lots of work, continued studying and trying to tackle my to-do list. But I’m also expecting it to be a good one because it’s not going to be good if you expect it to be bad. Positivity is everything!
