Darling, It’s Alright

I hope you’re all having a great long weekend and taking a moment to remember and thank those who have given their lives and served our country.  It’s easy to get caught up in an extra day off from work without remembering why we’re getting it.

I’ve felt very fortunate to have my weekend full of plenty of time to put my feet up, relax and breathe.  Plus I got to spend my Sunday sweating it out in hot yoga with Lauren and celebrating a belated birthday for one of my friends with a surprise bowling adventure.  What a great weekend.

But it’s also a Monday and since I skipped Music Monday last week to share the many wonderful events of Blend, I had to make sure to get back to it this week.

Music MondayThis video is a fun one and I’m not sure I’d enjoy the song nearly as much without the video.  The lighting is so incredible and fun that I think it might be what makes this song for me.  But I’ll let you be the judge.

  1. We don’t have a long weekend here in Australia this weekend but we do in 2 weeks time so I can’t complain :)

I had brunch with some friends and got a massage over the weekend it was really nice.

I want to do hot yoga again, I did it ages ago but haven’t been back since.

  2. writing and posting photos… and cleaning the house… and reflecting. A lot of reflecting.

  3. Glad you had a great weekend friend!! I’ve been hangin out at the farm, eating, relaxing, and now it’s about time for more eating and then a whole lot of driving!

  4. I want to go to hot yoga with you!!! Jealous! ;)

  5. great weekend hanging with friends and getting things done around the house :)

  6. Ummm…your post-hot yoga hair is like my hair on it’s best day!! Glad you had a good weekend! :)

  7. A former roommate went through a crazy hot yoga obsession, but I’m quite satisfied currently with Vinyasa-in-a-very-warm-room. :)

I wish I weren’t testing kids right now so I could listen to this song. You always introduce me to such great music!
