5 Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

I remember when the whole apple cider vinegar “trend” first came around. I was intrigued but I didn’t get it and I definitely wasn’t feeling brave enough to try it.  But I have to admit, I’m SO happy that not only was I brave enough to try it, I’ve discovered my favorite morning cocktail.

But I got to thinking, maybe we all need a reminder as to why we are (or should consider) doing this! Sure, it’s “for our health” but do we really know why? Here are 5 benefits of apple cider vinegar that you may or may not know:

  1. Helps aid digestion
  2. Increases metabolism
  3. Helps clear skin
  4. Boosts energy
  5. Helps control blood sugar

I can attest to these myself 100%! Since I started taking apple cider vinegar every morning, I’ve cut down my daily coffee intake, losing that mid afternoon cup most days of the week, my skin has definitely been clearing up, and my digestion has felt a million times better, even from when I took a daily probiotic.

Needless to say, I am sold and see no reason to turn back now!

    I also remember this trend. My goodness this stuff was purported to cure whatever ails you, while also cleaning stains on your fabrics and polishing jewelry to perfection. I laughed at it then but I have say, I think a lot of the rumors were true. The key is to get a good product, not some cheap diluted vinegar. I think you nailed it! Thank you for sharing. I’ll have to give this a shot 🙂

    I have this every morning. It helps with my digestion. Not sure about the rest personally. Aloe vera juice has also helped my digestion a ton!

    I’ve been putting one teaspoon in a glass of water each morning for the past month and have seen the changes. I didn’t realize until reading this that I too have dropped my afternoon coffee. How much do you put in your water?
