Can I admit that every year right around this time I actually miss the back to school season? I’m no longer a student, I have no kids (and you likely know that I don’t intend that to change), but while I was a kid and would be sad to see the summer end, I always loved the back to school season: shopping for new cute clothes to show off to your friends, brand new notebooks and pens, and just the start of a new season and the next chapter of growing up.
With that said, I always think it’s fun this time of year to get myself a little something new. Whether that be a couple of new pieces for fall, some new pens or notebooks for work, something I’ve been needing for my apartment, etc..you get the gist.
Since I’ve mentioned I’m on quite the budget right now, I’m always on the lookout for new deals or ways to save money while still getting to enjoy those small splurges during this back to school season, and for that I am loving Groupon Goods!
If you’re unfamiliar, Groupon Goods allows you to buy all sorts products (name brands included!) at a discounted rate as long as it’s available on the site. I currently have my eye on some new ear buds for work or a shower resistant speaker, because you know I love my music! Regardless of what you may be looking for (back to school gear or a personal treat), I highly suggest checking out Groupon Goods first!
With that said, this week, I’m totally digging ‘Bloom’ by Beach House. The album was on repeat as I worked on blog posts and meal prepped through my Sunday afternoon.
Now go do a little shopping, throw on some music, and have an amazing Monday!
What are you listening to today?
Are you a back to school season fan?

Groupon is always awesome. I also love the start of back to school season because I still let myself buy new office supplies.
xoxo, Jenny

I’ve used groupon goods a few times and I love it! I love school supplies even though I am so far removed from school!
I had the same thought this morning as I drove to work! Today is the first day of school and while I do work in community education and get to work in some schools in my community, I still totally miss that feeling of excitement on the first day of school. I actually bought myself some new clothes this weekend – I feel like everyone needs a new fall wardrobe even if they don’t have to get ready for school!
I’m with you! Even though I haven’t been in school for years, back-to-school season is still a favorite. With the fresh academic year and a crisp new season upon us, I always feel like I have a clean slate. Lovely post!
I miss the back to school days too! We moved my sister into college this past weekend and it made me miss it so much more!

I’ve never heard of Groupon Goods–so thank you for sharing it and talking about it in this post!
I love back to school shopping even though (like you) I haven’t been IN school in ages and I don’t have kiddos. There’s just something about walking down the aisles with supplies and new threads that makes me want to… just look. ha! LOVE me some Groupons and thanks for sharing new tunes 🙂 I like what I’m hearing!

I love Groupon and I have found some amazing deals on their Goods website. I am dreading that we have to go back to school in 2 weeks!
I’m a huge fan of back to school…we live on the main country road that leads to the schools about 4 miles away…so ALL the buses go down our road…this is my main source of afternoon entertainment for my two year old twins…I AM SO THANKFUL that the buses are back running now!!! 🙂
