I first started practicing yoga about 10 years ago. At the time I was living in New Jersey, working in the music industry, trying to make ends meet, and stressed out far beyond than I should have been at the time. A friend suggested I try yoga. I had never done it before and wasn’t in a position to spend the money on a gym membership or studio classes, so I started using Yoga Download and their free 20 minute classes. I began following their hatha classes which were slow and calming. It became the perfect way to end my day, practicing a 20 minute yoga class and generally falling asleep on the floor in savasana.
All this to say, I love a good pre-bed yoga class. While I now love a good heat-building vinyasa style class, I also love to slow my practice down and today’s TriYoga video is a flashback to my days of pre-bed yoga. Of course you can do this class whenever suits you, your schedule, and your body, but it’s also a great way to unwind before bed. Enjoy!
