Body Scan Meditation – TriYoga with Katie

I have to admit that I’m loving the start of the month. I love the opportunity to refresh and hit reset on my goals, but I also love that it means a new meditation. I know meditation can be a hard thing to get into for so many people, and my intention with these meditation videos is to help them become more accessible and bridge the gap for anyone who may be new to meditation, or who is looking for a guided meditation.

Today’s meditation is a Body Scan Meditation and just like it sounds, we will take our time scanning the body from your toes all the way through the crown of your head. The goal of this meditation is to just notice how the body is feeling, but making no judgements for how things feel, but just taking note.

Find a spot where you can lie all the way down on your back, undisturbed, quiet, and find comfort. As we begin to take notice of the body, I want you to be comfortable and relaxed so lying all the way down is encouraged.

    I love these kind of meditations! I’m going to do this as soon as I get home, I think it will be a great way to end the day on a good note!
