Well, there’s good news and there’s bad news…
Good news: I got a lot of stuff moved into my new place today
Bad news: We don’t think they actually cleaned the carpets like they said they were so we can’t quite get things set up
In the long run, it will be a great home but for now, I’m exhausted (and writing this Tuesday night before going to bed). HA!
Anyway, let’s get on to some eats for the week thanks to Jenn and the chickpea!
While I didn’t remember to take a picture of my breakfast (clearly, I just wake up ravenous and the first thing that has to happen is that I eat..no joke)! But Sunday was National Coffee Day so I made sure to celebrate (again…and again…and again…)
Since I was busy moving stuff on Tuesday and making multiple trips back and forth, lunch was quick. I reached into the fridge and grabbed some spinach and some leftover vegetarian baked beans. While the beans were heating in the microwave, I was eating berries out of the container so they never made the picture. 😉
And after making my way back home after another trip, I was starving. As I waited for dinner to cook, I ate some carrot sticks and chatted on the phone. Dinner was a veggie burger topped with avocado (and tomato which didn’t make the picture), corn on the cob and my dad’s homemade coleslaw. It was so delicious and definitely hit the spot.
Making this quick, it’s time to get back to the grind…
