I love a good fiery, hot, vinyasa yoga class but lately, I’ve found my body craving a slow, smoother and more gentle practice. I’ve been living for longer holds, getting deep into my hips, and building strength with a slower practice. Today’s class is going to be just that. We’re going to have what I’m calling a juicy slow flow yoga practice because these holds are going to get juicy!
With all of that said, we’ll build strength in this class today but we won’t do a single chaturanga. I encourage you to try this practice as-is and notice how we can get a beautiful flow-y practice without chaturanga, but if you’re having a day when you’re really craving it, feel free to sub out the plank to low belly and cobra, with a more traditional chaturanga and upward facing dog. This is your practice, after all!
