Meditation to Ease Anxious Thoughts – TriYoga with Katie

I haven’t been shy to share about my struggles with anxiety. I think we have to take the stigma away. The more we are able to talk about our own worries, concerns, and anxieties, the more we’re able to connect with and help one another. I started doing this meditation when I found myself in an anxiety spiral and needed to come back into my body and calm down. I’ve found it so helpful for myself, that I’ve also talked friends through it when they are in that same space.

With that said, this meditation isn’t ONLY helpful when you’re in an anxious space. This meditation is really good anytime when you need to find a few moments of stillness, quiet, and relaxation. I hope you’ll give it a try and then let me know how it went for you!

Are there any other meditations that you’d like to see? I share a new meditation on the first Friday of every month for my TriYoga with Katie YouTube channel!

Love this! I’ve recently started using meditation to deal with my anxiety and it really does help! The important part is making time for it, sometimes that’s the harder part.

I think it’s important to remember that even if you can only find 2 minutes, that’s still beneficial. I build it into my morning routine and I won’t get out of bed until it’s done, even if it means I’m running late, I just do a shorter meditation but I never skip!

This is really great! I have anxiety too, and I’ve never been able to just meditate on my own, only guided. This one is fantastic. Thank you so much!
