Music Monday

While the day is only beginning, I’ll be honest – I’m counting down until it ends because after the long weekend, tomorrow I will finally get the day off.  Sadly, I plan to use it catching up on studying, doing more studying, running errands, tackling my to-do list, and did I mention studying?  I’m in the home stretch of the time line I set for myself to get my CPT so it’s really time to buckle down, figure out where my weaknesses lie (and thankfully, I’ve been keeping track) and just making sure it all stays fresh. I was hoping to get in my live workshop before getting my CPT but since there aren’t any in the entire midwest for the rest of 2012, I’ll have to use the workshop for one of my credentials later.  Whatever works.

Anyway, it’s Monday and I wanted to share some more good music with you.  In fact, I assumed I must have already shared this but after a quick search I can’t find it so I guess I didn’t.  And if I did, you can either call me out on it, or celebrate that you haven’t been reading long enough to know the difference? Wait, did I just say that? 😉

It’s Iron & Wine’s “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” from The Shepherd’s Dog album.  Enjoy it – this is good music. (Side note: there isnt’ anything new about this album). 😉

On a totally different note, I have to share this picture because while I was studying I could not stop laughing.  What do you see?

What music have you been listening to lately?

Oh my gosh, Sam Beam could sing about paint drying and I would buy the album!I never even knew about him until I bought the Twilight Soundtrack, but instantly became a fan! Love Vigilantes is my absolute FAVORITE! I could (and have) listen to it on repeat all day!

awww … I love Iron and Wine. And it’s funny that you share this today as it’s the only thing you’ve shared that I knew about because Mark’s and my song is “Such Great Heights” (yes, the cover version).
