Friends, readers, and all of you beautiful people out there – please please PLEASE always fill my email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever with good music to look out for. It seriously makes me happy.
My co-worker and friend Jon shared a new band with me the other day called Frightened Rabbit.
Have you heard of them?
Me neither. But after checking them out on Spotify Saturday night, I think they’re definitely worth a listen. I especially recommend…
“The Woodpile”
and
“Acts of Man”
Check it…you know you want to! 😉
You know what else makes me happy?
My new job.
Yes, you read that right. I’m in my final days at the coffee shop and moving onto bigger, better and exciting things. A few weeks ago, my chiropractors approached me about an opportunity in their office they thought I’d be perfect for. Since I was definitely interested in more information, we began the interview process and last week they officially offered me a position as a Chiropractic Assistant.
What about personal training?
I’m figuring out how I want to pursue this. I have some ideas based around the blog (if you’re interested in training though, shoot me an email – kt.talkless.saymore (at) gmail (dot) com and we can discuss), but I don’t think I want to pursue personal training in such a straight-forward work-in-a-gym way… Additionally, the chiro office offers training services as part of their wellness approach and 8 Weeks to Wellness program. While I’m not hired as a trainer, their may be instances they’d ask me to assist in some capacity since I have that education and skill.
I’m honestly so excited about this opportunity. I’ve already started training and while I finish up my last bit of time at the coffee shop, I’ll continue training and working both jobs and then I’ll only be there.
I’ve seen great changes in the last few months since I started seeing my chiropractors and I’m excited to be able to share my experiences with our patients – new and old, and see where this next chapter takes me!
Linking up to Katie’s MIMM because this is a simply marvelous post. 🙂

What new music are you loving lately that I should know about?
Do you see a chiropractor? Why/why not?

Congrats on your new job! It sounds like a great opportunity, and one that could lead places you might not even expect. 🙂
Congratulations on the new job! That’s awesome that there may be a chance for more in the future too! And, not to sound like a total nerd but, it’s great to have a variety of skill on your resume…makes you look more flexible and eager to learn! 😀
Love the new band! I’ve never heard of Frightened Rabbit before! Thanks to Calee, I’ve been digging Justin Timberlake’s new album! I’ve not really been a huge JT fan in the past, but I’m loving the new sounds he’s got going on right now!
Thanks!! I should admit, I’m not a big JT fan…in fact, I was apparently one of the only people who did NOT like this performance on the Grammys…
YAY!!! I’m still ecstatic for you!
Thanks, friend!
Congrats again! Makes me so happy! You seem so excited and I hope you update us on how the new job is too!
Love ya girl!
Thanks! I am super happy and excited for the potential that it brings!
Congrats on your new job! That is fantastic! 🙂
Thanks!
Congratulations!!! It sounds like a great opportunity and it will be interesting to see how things evolve for you. 🙂
Thank you!!
Congratulations on your new job! For some reason I thought you were going to say you were managing a new band. Chiropractic assistant? That will be so much fun. What type of chiropractic does your new boss practice?
Girl…would you hang on?! 😉
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “what type” but they take a very wellness approach to chiropractic, as well as pediatric chiro. My boss is known for his work with kids with ADD, ADHD and other problems.
I used to see a Chiro but then switched to a physio. The physio I have now makes the effort to try and get you to a point where you can do exercises at home yourself to maintain any issues you had whereas my old chiro used to just be happy for you to keep going and going and not give you stuff to make you maintain on your own. Def not a physio vs chiro thing it was more just the difference in attitude for me that I preferred.
