While going through a yoga class, it’s so easy to get caught up in the flow and forget about our form within each pose. I find this is especially true in a vinyasa or power yoga class when in most instances, you’re likely not holding the pose for very long before moving on to the next pose. When you’re going from pose to pose to pose, you’re stopping to setup up each pose and you’re not giving yourself the opportunity to tap into each subtle adjustment that can bring you closer to the pose. So today we’ll dive into this triangle pose breakdown in hopes of helping you feel more at home in this posture.
With that said, I want you to remember that a pose is going to look different in your body vs mine. That’s another reason why these cues become even more important because you get to take the time to make the necessary adjustments and notice how the pose may change within your body, compared to just trying to make things look the same. With that said, let’s get to this breakdown of triangle, one of my favorite standing postures.
