I hope everyone had a nice, safe, and healthy holiday. I’m not heading back to Michigan until tomorrow morning, so I’m soaking up these final moments with friends and family before heading back home. Before we get to my workout recap, I wanted to share a fun yoga pose challenge I’m hosting on my Instagram starting January 1st as the build up to a new project…details below…

I’ve been hard at work behind the scenes dreaming up this idea for months. Putting off the work because of this silly little thing called fear. And truthfully, I couldn’t even tell you WHAT I was/am afraid of. Success? Failure? The work? Someone seeing? Isn’t that point?! 

After months of saying “soon” and “someday,” I’m finally ready to launch the tool that so greatly I have wanted to share. A Yoga and Meditation YouTube Channel! I believe that there is room in this yoga space for more, and that’s exactly what I hope to provide. Yoga, Meditation, Breath-work, and more! We can’t all be everyone’s teacher and after far too many times recommending instructors who I don’t personally enjoy (but know others do), I’m hoping to fill that void. I hope to be your (and many others) teacher. I don’t need to be the only, but I hope to be one. I hope you let me join you in your living room or wherever your practice takes you.

But if launching a YouTube channel wasn’t enough, we’re leading up to the big February kick off with an Instagram challenge starting January 1st. It is my hope to help you learn more about the poses you’ll see in classes to come, to feel comfortable and confident exploring each posture and noticing how it feels in your body and maybe your mind as well. Practice these poses, explore these poses, and share with the community of people doing the same! Use #triyogawithkatie and #2019yogakickoff so we can follow along and support one another. Questions?
