I don’t know about you, but I carry a lot of stress and tension in my upper body. My neck, shoulders and upper back seem to be one of the first places I feel stress. They hold that tension and it keeps building and building, often to the point of headaches and major discomfort. Add in the reality of a life of technology where we’re hunched over computers, tablets, and phones all day, and it feels like we’re just asking for trouble so what if we could do yoga for an upper-body release? Sounds good, right?
Today’s class is all about releasing some of that tension in the upper body. While this is a great class to do when you’re feeling that tension, it’s also good to be proactive and stay on top of it before we get to the point of those gnarly headaches, pain, and discomfort. This class is less than 15 minutes so it’s super accessible to come back anytime you need that release or to build into your day on a consistent basis.
