We all have those days when joy doesn’t feel as if it’s at the forefront of our minds. Those days when things may feel a bit more challenging and difficult. Those days when these days feel as if they’re happening far too often. I get it because I’ve been there; we’ve all been there. While there are so many things that we can do to work on shifting that mindset and cultivate more joy in our days, today we’re going to focus on one of them: yoga.

Yes, yoga. Today’s practice is a class to help cultivate joy. It’s meant to be fun, to take a step back, and to not take anything too seriously. One reason I love this practice is that it provides an opportunity to let go of what may be on your mind and worrying you, and instead just be present with your practice, your body, and yourself. I feel so blessed that yoga came into my life when it did and that I get to experience those benefits whether I’m practicing for myself or teaching a class full of beautiful students. 

I hope you enjoy today’s class and if you want a longer practice may I suggest adding a few rounds of Sun A to your practice today!
