This one is for the ladies! Sorry, gentlemen. But every month Mother Nature comes strolling through the lives of the ladies in the world and we’re often left feeling bloated, crampy, and exhausted. (And let’s get real, that only acknowledges a FEW of the feelings that may be present before our periods come.) Today’s TriYoga with Katie class is meant to support you during that time and is the perfect yoga practice to ease PMS.
This practice is full of easy, restorative, and supported postures to help soften the body. I would recommend grabbing a blanket (or two) and a pillow (or two). If you have yoga blocks or bolsters, those are great too, but you definitely don’t need to spend the money on any fancy yoga specific products.
We’ll hold each posture for about 5-10 slow breaths, but feel free to pause the video at any point and hang in the pose a little longer if that feels good to you. Then just let yourself unwind, relax, and settle into your space.
Yoga to Ease PMS
Now, when it comes to the intense hunger, chocolate cravings, and desire to live in sweats for a week…I say, you do you, boo!
