12 Days of Christmas Workout

12-days-workout-fbAt yoga Friday night we did another version of the “bring sally up” core workout and holy moly, it was tough! It was definitely made harder by the packed room and trying not to hit your neighbors only inches away but I love when a core workout leaves me sore the next couple days and this one definitely did that.

Now I’m not going to be sharing that variation with you today but instead, I want to share a fun 12 Days of Christmas workout!  If you know the song (and really, who doesn’t?!), then you know how this workout goes, but just in case here’s any confusion, it follows this pattern…

Round 1:

1 – burpee

Round 2:

2 – tricep dips

1 – burpee

Round 3:

3 – upright rows

2 – tricep dips

1 – burpee

etc, etc…make sense?

  1. Burpee
  2. Tricep dips
  3. Upright rows
  4. Single arm clean & press – alt sides
  5. Jumping jacks
  6. Reverse lunges – alt sides
  7. Air squats
  8. Mountain climbers – alt sides
  9. Bicep curls
  10. Bicycle crunches – alt sides
  11. Push-ups
  12. High knees
