With summer time here so is summer travel. While I’m an advocate for moderation and maybe more importantly rest, I also think it’s important to listen to your body and when it feels right, maintain your healthy lifestyle. Therefore, today I’m going to share four of the easiest and best workout travel essentials.
1.Resistance Bands
I’ve preached my love for resistance bands before, but this is the easiest way to get in a great strength workout without needing to have a set of dumbbells or two with you.
2.Jump Rope
A simple jump rope allows for quick and easy cardio. It doesn’t need to be a fancy rope, just one that works, add in a little space and you have a great workout on your hands.
3.Arm Band or Flip Belt
Want to head out for a run? Grab an arm band or flip belt to hold your phone, keys and identification. Plus, running is a great way to tour a new place!
4.Massage Ball
It’d be great if we could get a massage every time we need help recovering, but I suggest the next best thing, a massage ball. These are great to have at home, but they’re also small enough to fit in your suitcase without taking up much space and perfect in a moment to work out tight and sore muscles.
Need a good travel workout? Check out your Resistance Band Circuit Workout.
With your bags packed, how many of these things will be in your suitcase?
Do you have any other travel workout essentials?

This is great! Kudos for you being able to work out on vaca. I just can’t bring myself to do that.

Yes I always take resistance bands and a jump rope! I have a travel/workout post Friday!
Great ideas! Jump rope is so simple to pack and so effective–its so hard!

Just got back from a trip and bringing some simple things like these make all the difference! I love going outside and finding a park with benches to do some body weight exercises too!
Good suggestions! I’ve never taken much with me on vacations but it would be so easy to throw my resistance bands in my bag.

Great suggestions! I’ve never used resistance bands before but have always been curious about them (and I’m always all about things that take up the least amount of space, being that I live in a wee apartment, too).

Girl, they are SO worth the investment! And they really aren’t expensive so it’s hardly an investment! 😉
These are so great! My husband and I are traveling to Rome with his family next summer, so I’ll have to keep these in mind!
