Whether you’re looking to start a fitness habit or needing to revitalize your current one, we all have to start somewhere and with that comes a need for motivation. So the question becomes, how do we motivate ourselves?
Find a New Workout Program
I’ve mentioned I’m doing the Tone It Up workouts right now and loving it! Sometimes all it takes is changing things up and finding the program that works right for you.
Get A Workout Buddy
Having a support system is huge for staying accountable to your workouts. If you know someone is waiting for you at that 6am yoga class, I promise you’re more likely to show up!
Motivational Quotes
Find a quote or mantra that motivates you when you need that extra push.
New Workout Clothes
While this isn’t something you can do ALL the time, it’s a great way to treat yourself and find a new level of motivation. Because let’s get real, who doesn’t get excited about working out when they have new clothes to wear?
Like these SKINS DNAmic Long Tights, perfect for performing better for longer and faster recovery. They’re comfortable and definitely fit into the space of motivation.

Awesome tips! I like to think of my workout as just another part of day, as if it were a meeting at work! Schedule it into your calendar and then you’ll definitely get it done!

Schedule it in to your day! Then you don’t even need to think twice about it because it’s part of what you need to do.

I have a hard time getting motivated. Usually if I set a goal and reach it I’ll think of something really good to reward myself. That helps!
