Before we all carry on with our days, can we take a moment?
A moment to be thankful for this country where we live.
A moment to be thankful for those who give their lives so we can live in freedom.
A moment to be thankful for all that we have in our lives.
A moment to be thankful for the people around us.
Just a moment to be thankful.
So whether you’re celebrating with a long weekend, a barbecue with family and friends, watching a parade or seeing the fireworks, just take a moment and be thankful. It’s easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of life and forget to take these moments so let this be your reminder.
While the office is closed today, I still have a full week of work and will be back bright and early Friday morning for a jam-packed day. Regardless, I’m enjoying my time with family today and will be enjoying house/pup-sitting for some friends. It’s the little things in life that truly bring us the most joy. So turn off your computer and go enjoy it!
