Has everyone been doing their plank-a-day for Abs in April?
I HAVE!
Please notice the face. Itβs not my best, but it sure is amusing. π
Anyway, I have stayed consistent with my planks everyday and despite feeling like I could skip them on Sunday after we did a LOT of ab work and planks in hot yoga, I decided I was going to get them in anyway. And I did.
All planks this week have been with my arms straight (vs. on my elbows) as I do find it interesting to compare how I do between the two…maybe Iβll do elbow planks this week and switch back and forth week to week?…options, weβll see!
Honestly, Iβm already feeling better about my core! Itβs been feeling sore (in a good way), strong and I find myself more aware of keeping a tight core when carrying myself around, but especially while running. All good things! π

Gah, I need to get back to planking! Have you seen the “Plank Police” on Twitter? You should look up that account … they totally will get on you for not getting in your planking if you consistently use the #plankaday hashtag.
YES! And they keep getting me! So I got a little snarky with them the other day…really, they just need to come to my weekly check-in on Tuesdays and see I haven’t missed a freaking day yet…
