Did you have a good holiday weekend? Mine was SO nice! I had a couple friends come visit this weekend. They arrived late Friday night and left Sunday afternoon. We explored Grand Rapids, ate good food and coffee, walked and loved on Poncho, chatted a lot, did yoga (they took one of my classes) and took a Saturday afternoon nap on my living room floor. It was so nice and truthfully, filled my soul in the best and fullest way. It was what I needed.
They left Sunday afternoon since one of them had to work Monday, so that meant I had Monday off to do what I needed/wanted to do. Poncho and I took several walks, I got in a morning run, took a hot yoga class, did laundry, meal prepped, edited videos, wrote blog posts, planned yoga classes, and took some time to chill. I haven’t had a day entirely off since March so it was amazing to get a couple this weekend. Even the blog/video work I did, didn’t really feel like work because I didn’t force myself to get things done in any time frame, I just moved slow and easy. What a blessing.
Since May is coming to an end and I took Monday off from blogging, today is the perfect day to share my attitude of gratitude AND my workouts from last week. Two birds, one stone, so to speak.
First, let’s take a peek into my gratitude journal…

What are you grateful for this month? How was your weekend?

Sounds like you had a great weekend with your friends! Can I come visit? Yoga, loving on your pup and an afternoon nap sounds perfect to me! I hope that June is just as good as May was!
Sounds like you had a great weekend and your Monday sounds so productive. I haven’t been to gym and yoga in a while and miss both like crazy! Hopefully next week I’m back in my routine.
Today I’m grateful that I’m on leave tomorrow and having a 3 day weekend 🙂

Sounds like the perfect weekend! We actually had some really nice weather for part of the weekend, so I got to relax and read, while the boys played and camped in the yard. I’m looking forward to a lot more of that this summer! I hope your June starts out great!
It sounds like you had a really nice weekend. It’s always fun to spend time with friends, and yay for a really productive day off. 🙂
