As I mentioned yesterday, it’s been a long week and I’m so excited that it’s Friday and the weekend is almost here. It’s going to be a busy one but regardless, it will be nice to take off the pressure of work and find some time to rest and relax…at least a bit.
I’ll be dog (slash house) sitting while some friends are away for a wedding. It will be fun to hang out with their dog all weekend and feel like I’m on my own kind of little weekend getaway. There’s a lot of craziness going on over here (I’ll share when I can!) so this is much needed.

I’ve been in the zone on my runs this week and since it’s been rainy outside, I’ve had to resort to gym runs all week. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays runs were all done entirely running the track at my gym (which is 12 laps/mile)! I can hardly believe it myself. 😉
And just like that, there’s only a few more weeks until the race – we’re in the home stretch!
