I’ve mentioned several times but this year is all about me being true to who I am; letting down the walls that I allow to confine me from time to time; and showing people my truly authentic self – inside and out.
Part of this journey is stepping outside of my comfort zone on a daily basis and pursuing this crazy dream of traveling the country and giving back to charity (50statesinayear.com) and another part is sharing things about myself that I don’t often talk about or share, even those closest to me.
Today is one of those days when I share one of my “secrets” with the world.
Scratch that. I have two.
To some this may come as no surprise as you may already know or have seen. To others this may come as no surprise because I’m all about self expression – in words, music, art. But to others this may be a surprise, not that it matters either way.
This is me. This is who I am. This is one way I express myself. These are silent reminders to myself as to what I find important in my life and to never be afraid to just be me.
So here I am.

Well I think it’s freaking awesome! If I wasn’t so afraid of needles, I’d love to get a tattoo of my own… except I would probably end up with around 10 because I hear they’re crazy addicting.
