READING:
I finished ‘The Happiness Project’ by Gretchen Rubin on Wednesday, started ‘Year of Yes’ by Shonda Rimes on Thursday and was so inspired, the book was finished by Sunday. I’m not kidding. I loved it and thank you Audible for making “reading” a bit easier for me. 😉
As for a physical book, I’m currently reading ‘The Everything Candida Diet Book’ by Jeffrey McCombs, DC. More details about that soon…
WATCHING:
Have I mentioned Gilmore Girls? Yes, yes, I have. Many a times. And it continues so don’t judge me! 😉
WRITING:
Well, where should I start? THIS blog…Daily Aspire…and then there’s a few other “side” projects I’m playing around with which has led to a lot of writing. Please don’t ask me how I make time for that. And while yes, I wake up at 4:30 almost every morning, I try not to go to bed at 11pm very often, so somehow it’s fitting in there. ha!
DRINKING:
Coffee, tea and water. The usual. I’m missing my kombucha right now, especially every time I open the cabinet and see the scoby floating in a giant jar of tea that I will end up dumping when I can finally brew a batch to drink myself. Actually, what I need to do is brew a fresh batch and store it in the fridge, since it’ll be a little while yet.
EATING:
When I get tired, lazy and don’t feel like making myself a nice dinner, please remind me that this whole thing came together super easy and fast. Plus, I ended up with leftovers for the next night’s dinner and lunch for the next two days. Win!
NEW HOBBY:
I don’t know that I have a new hobby… I have still been doing a lot of yoga and just loving it! I set an intention, I sweat, I move and I always leave refreshed and ready for whatever life throws my way. Sure, it still gets me down sometimes, but I’m better able to handle it with as much ease and grace as is humanly possible.
I’m still hoping for more time to take photos or sew, but hey, I got down the sewing machine so that counts as a start, right? 😉
What have you been up to? Pick one and answer it for yourself!

You’re making me want to read Year of Yes even more now! It will probably be the next book that I read.
xoxo, Jenny

OH YUM! I’m always so simple with salt and maybe a little pepper but that sounds delicious!
Love little life updates like this! Always makes me feel connected! ?
I got you, girl! 🙂
I loved the year of yes!
RIGHT?! SO GOOD!
I’m curious about your scoby. I really need to try Kombucha … I think part of me is afraid to because I’ll end up with one of my own and it’ll go the way of my pet bread.
It’s not scary, I promise! And technically it can sit longer, if you don’t want to brew another batch yet but you’ll just want to start a fresh batch to drink as it’ll be too vinegary to drink. If it’s going to be longer than say 3 months, they recommend a new batch and putting it in the fridge.
I have to admit that I never saw the entire show, but I have been hearing so much about it lately, I might as well just do it. Hugs xxx

I really need to try So Delicious’s SUGAR FREE ice cream – it’s calling to me but I don’t want to buy it, if it’s going to be gross! LOL!

Mmmm it’s ice cream…and it’s So Delicious….can you go wrong?
I probably need to brew a new batch of kombucha myself but why will it be a while before you drink some?

Lately it has been about planning for this years garden, what am I planting, where am I planting. Love being outside and using those forgotten muscles.

My mom is actually huge into sewing. She is so good at it too.
Believe it or not, Gilmore girls is actually one show I’ve never gotten too much into. I always say I will watch a few episodes and then get sidetracked with something else LOL.

I would never judge you for Gilmore Girls! In fact, I would judge the person judging you for watching Gilmore Girls 🙂 That show is so good, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every episode 5 times!
