For the last couple weeks, I’ve had this post on the schedule but every time I sat down to write it, it didn’t quite feel right. I found myself pushing it off for another week until the right words came to mind. That is, until now.
Last week I was having a conversation with a friend when we started talking about belief. More specifically, belief in ourselves.
Do you believe in yourself?
When I find myself feeling a little lost or confused or sometimes untrusting of my decisions, that question plays over and over in my head.
Do you believe in yourself?

And as sad as this is to say, often times the answer in that moment is no. I have so many things to be proud of myself for and yet for some reason, I allow a poor decision to make me feel like a failure and to lose all belief in myself.
Today, that stops.
If that sounds anything like you, then today I want you to join me. Today, we’re going to learn to let the past be the past and write our own futures. Today we’re going to pick ourselves back up and BELIEVE that we have the ability and the power to achieve our goals, reach our dreams, and accomplish all that we have set out to accomplish in this world.
Today, we believe.
We’re all in a different place so it’s going to look a bit different for you than it does for me, but regardless, today we believe. We believe in ourselves and we believe in each other. We know that each of us has goals and aspirations and we believe that we’re all going to achieve them. Simple as that.
Today, we believe.

Are you with me?
Do you believe in yourself?

Such an important reminder – we HAVE To believe in ourselves. If we don’t believe in ourselves, who else would believe in us?

You really hit the nail on the head with this one. I think it’s so easy to say we believe in ourselves and desire to make change, but then to actually make a plan, follow through, commit daily with consistent activity, well that’s a whole other thing. Thankfully that gets better and better each week. 🙂 I’m standing up with you and committing to continued crazy self-belief. Let’s do this, my friend!

I have struggled with this a lot lately. Mostly because of my health. I just posted about it today too. Sometimes I forget that I am not my illness. And I let other peoples doubt in me fester. Thank You for helping pick me up! I really needed this today!

Oh I love this! I definitely think it’s sad that sometimes we can be SO supportive for others in our lives, but when it comes time to believe in ourselves, it’s just not there.
The timing of this post is much needed. Thanks 🙂

Unfortunately I feel like we’re often our own worst critics. But believing in ourselves can make such a difference in our lives! I’ve noticed in times when I have confidence and faith in myself, I tend to attract positivity and achieve more than I thought was possible. Proof that our thoughts and mindset can really impact outcomes!
Great words of encouragement. I think I would often answer “no” to that question as well.

I love the uplifting post because sometimes, we really might not believe in ourselves if something doesn’t go the way we had planned. Great message to share on your blog! Thanks for sharing!
Love this post and that quote. We’re all so hard on ourselves, we need to be better about giving grace and believing!
