That day off I had today; gone. That movie I had planned to see last night; didn’t happen. But the additional hours at work I needed; received. I just can’t go to an after 9pm movie and make it to work to open the next morning. And since some coworkers are sick, gotta help out. We call that karma.
But I must also admit, I’m ready for a day off but it is going to be a few days so until then, I’m going to try and soak up the extra hours, save some money and use my moments not at work as efficiently as possible.
Some of that time not at work will include more yoga because it keeps me centered and happy. It amazes me how centered I am when my practice is more regular vs. more sporadic. And as you’re about to see, I got my yoga on this week!
Happy Friday – don’t forget to grab a button and link-up!
How were your workouts this week with the holiday?
How are you able to stay motivated through the holiday season?

Great job on the workouts & the yoga! Happy Friday! 🙂
Thanks!
I was thinking the same thing as Amanda. I’m feeling a bit guilty. I haven’t worked out in OVER 2 weeks!!
Don’t feel guilty, all of our bodies are different and rest is VERY important. My rest day was really the “lunar flow” yoga – it was SO light and more of a stretch and relaxation.
Where’s your REST day girlie?? 😉
Glad you’re getting some extra hours!! That reminds me I need to get on finding a job in my new city!!
Happy Fitness Friday!
I ASSURE you while it may not look like it at glance, the Lunar Flow on Christmas was VERY light yoga and more for the mind than the body. It’s more light & slow stretching.
This is my first time here, and I’m so glad I found you! I need some motivation to get back in shape and I am so motivated by your weekly posting of your workouts. I can’t imagine working out every day of the week…baby steps! And, you should go see that movie! 🙂
YAY!!! 🙂
And you don’t need to work out every day of the week so don’t let that intimidate you! I LOVE working out but I also enjoy my rest and this was one of those weeks where there was more “active rest” with light yoga or walking.
Whew! You had a busy workout week! I took Tuesday morning off, and instead took my parent’s dog for a walk. Otherwise, I stuck with my plan of hitting the gym every day. Feels good to squeeze something in during the holidays!
Absolutely!
