Fitness Friday #34

I must admit, I’ve been a bit unmotivated in my workouts this past week. Once the decision was made to pull the end of 50 States, I was looking forward to spending my days at the gym, returning to consistent CrossFit training and feeling like I was getting back to where I was before we left. Problem is, I don’t feel comfortable making that financial move before I have any income, even though the income then means a busier schedule. For now, I’ve decided to hold off on my return and continue with the at-home workouts and running around my neighborhood.

On a positive note, while my runs aren’t feeling all that great, they are getting easier and I’m really enjoying running consistently again. Because of this, I’ve decided to follow a 10k training program and it’s giving my workouts a sense of purpose again.

Before we get onto my workouts (or lack thereof) this past week, there’s some big things coming to Fitness Friday in the coming weeks – get excited!!

Random question, but what app or program did you use to make that last picture? I like the idea of the mile and outline of a map on my pics, but not the actual street names. This looks perfect!

I use the Nike+ app to track my run, once I finish my run and go to share the details, this is one of the mapping options. I’m not sure if there’s any other apps that do that, but I love the Nike+ app!

Eeek! Second surprise I’ve been told about today – but no more details other than exciting things are happening! Can’t wait to hear what it is. Right now, just do what makes you happy and what feels right in this moment. CF will always be there waiting for you.

HAHA! I feel like this “big thing” is going to totally disappoint because it isn’t really THAT big..haha

CrossFit is definitely expensive… I think it’s a great plan to keep up with some free activities for now.

I’ve been on a 2 week hiatus from CF and I’m legit nervous to go back haha. It’s so much easier to keep going, than to start going again. I think I’m just going to rip that bandaid off and go 6 am on Monday! Yikes 🙂

It’s a bit expensive but SO worth the money in my opinion, I’m just really afraid of putting that kind of money out there when I don’t know when my income will appear again. It’s frustrating but I am just trying to remind myself that I’ve spent the last 9 ½ months creating my own workouts out of an RV so I can keep doing it now but it’s even better because I’m back HOME and in an area where I know what’s around me.
