A couple of my friends received an email from me last night with this picture:
That’s me after the crazy last two days of work. I’ve been able to stay happy and positive, but it’s been pretty insane and I’m hoping things at least kind of slow down so I can breathe.
Thankfully it’s Friday which means the weekend is almost here and after I make it through today and my short Saturday morning shift, it’s the weekend. TGIF! 😉
Since things have been so crazy, my workouts have meant even more to me and have really been used to help me recharge and combat stress. I love that exercise is able to do that for me. So without further adieu, here’s my week in fitness:
Friday 5/31/13
20 min walk
Lots of foam rolling + stretching
*note to self: don’t forget those workout necessities 😉
Saturday 6/1/13
2.5 mile run
Sunday 6/2/13
10 min walk
20 min stationary bike
Stability ball toner
20 min YogaDownload – Lunar Flow

Do you find exercise helps you combat stress?
How were your workouts this week?

Yikes! Sorry to hear you’re having a crazy week! I’ve had many of those myself. Hopefully you’re getting a break this weekend. I think exercise helps stress immensely! After hearing some bad news about a project I was working on a few months ago, I felt devastated. Nonetheless, I had running practice scheduled. I wanted to skip, but didn’t. Running, taking my mind off of stress, and connecting with running friends made all of the difference. If I’d skipped, I’d likely have wallowed on the subject all evening at home. Not good! I especially like yoga. It helps me focus on only one thing at a time (something that many of us women struggle with)!
Exercise is my favorite stress reliever! It definitely helps me rid of unnecessary pent up energy, and give my brain some “down time” from all the crazy things going on. Have a great weekend!
I feel ya. Workouts help me stay sane!
P.S. I’m glad you added your link-up back. I’ll try to join in next week!
I’ve tried linking up with you, but I keep getting an error.

Weird! What’s the error say?
I often forget the importance of stretching, foam rolling and walking. I’ve been trying to put my laptop down at night and get in a little bit of foam rolling/stretching. I feel so much better when I do!
I just bought a Kettlebell last week and have been looking for some workouts to do with it. Love the GPP one you shared!
