I know it’s Friday and we’re all gearing up for the weekend. I know we have our minds elsewhere and we’re thinking about the final things we need to get done today so we can enjoy the next couple days off. But I’m proud of that post, the message and the journey that I went on to get there. It may seem like a simple “how to” post, but it was actually something very difficult to write. I want it to help others who are looking at something in their life as a failure when really they shouldn’t be.

Now that we have that business out of the way, we can get to the Fitness Friday fun…

Workouts this week were kind of all over but at the same time really fun. I had to listen to my body and when I was down for the count on Wednesday due to an extra bad day for this migraine, take an early rest day. I got in a great workout on Thursday but where I would usually go all out, I really let myself take my time on the rowing and not overdo anything.

Back Squat

3-3-3-3-3 @ 80% Across

10@45/5@65/80 for 5 sets

One arm overhead squats

2×10/side @20

Walk outside

30 Sit-ups

30 KB Swings

20 Sit-ups

10 KB swings

But aside for the annoying guys in the gym who were lurking and hovering around the squat rack to pounce the moment I made any indication that I was leaving, lifting has been really fun!
