It’s been quite the week. Despite a rough race over the weekend, I’ve made a comeback with my running this week. There were a few more challenging runs but I was able to push through and I’m really happy with my mileage this week. I’m working towards some big things but I’ll share that later. 😉

My workouts were good! Consistent Monday – Friday, even though I’ve been suffering from a nasty cold. I’m going to dominate this 10 lbs or so that I want to lose! 😉

Anyway, congrats on your race! I know it was hot, and afternoon races in the summer are especially tough (I chose not to do one today at 6:30 PM for that exact reason!). Dude – you should see the picture taken of me at my race this week – TERRIBLE! Possibly even meme worthy!

I struggled with my workouts this week. I am still not feeling the groove with running and my asthma has been giving me issues due to all of the stress I have going on in my life right now! I am still hoping I can make it through an entire marathon but am not going to kick myself if I don’t. I think what would bother me most is others judging me if I don’t actually go through with it… but in the end, I know what is best for my body and if shorter distances are it, then I might need to rethink my marathon decision.
