TGIF! Who’s with me? It’s been another long week where I was hopeful for rest that never saw the light of day. But I got some time on the beach early this week, so really, who am I to complain?

These last couple of weeks though have been a reminder for me to dig deep, find my courage and keep pushing forward even when things get tough.

As far as my workouts go, there have been a few event WODs, a few RV WODs but very little running or yoga and I’m  definitely missing them. I’m hoping with the week ahead, I can fit both into my schedule a bit better.

Sunday 2/8/15

AB Tabata (20 sec work, 10 sec rest) / 4 rounds each:

-Leg Lifts (2 rounds/side)

-Reverse Crunches

-Plank

-Flutter Kicks

-Hip up (2 rounds/side)

Short Beach WOD:

10 Burpees

20 Push-ups

30 Sit-ups

40 Air Squats

50 Sec Plank

 

Monday 2/9/15

Bandit CrossFit Event WOD:

400m run

20 box jumps

400m run

20 knees to elbows

400m run

20 air squats

400m run

20 push-ups

400m run

20 ring dips

400m run

20 burpees

Tuesday 2/10/15

CrossFit 27:17 Event Partner WOD – Partner: Sam

800m run

time: 4:30

20 min AMrAP:

75 Toes to Bar (lying leg raises)

100 wall balls to partner (10#)

125 box jumps (20”)

AMrAP burpees over partner

score: 35 burpees

 

Wednesday 2/11/15

12:00 EMOM:

Odd: 10 Burpees

Even: 15 Air Squats

8:00 AMRAP:

6 push-ups

8 sit-ups

10 jumping lunges

score: 7+ 6 push-ups

Thursday 2/12/15

Rest

Today is our Arkansas event and then we’ve got a couple days of driving to get to New Orleans where we’ll be for Mardi Gras. I’m a mix of excited and extremely nervous for that, wish me luck!

    I’m jealous you will be in Nola for Mardi Gras! I was there at school the last 3 years, it’s weird seeing pictures from all my friends and not being there to celebrate! It is so much fun! I did order a king cake to enjoy, but that is gone now 🙂 make sure you try and couple! Each place has a specialty.
