I have to admit, I’m exhausted. I don’t really want to complain but I’m very excited for my coworker to return from her trip tomorrow and allow me to get back into my normal routine and have her additional support around the office. And while she’ll be back tomorrow, I do still have to get through the next couple of days of work but waiting for me will be a super relaxing day off on Sunday. I can’t wait! 🙂
I’m sure I’m not the only one yelling TGIF from the rooftops today, so let’s get down to business and get this weekend started.
Despite a great run to the beach and hike in LA on Saturday, I had a rough start to the week and struggled through 2 miles at the gym on Tuesday. I stopped after one mile, took a sip of water and just let the treadmill belt continue underneath me. A friend was on the bike behind me and said “Katie, you have to actually run on it!” When I turned around and told him I wasn’t feeling it, he said “careful, I’m going to catch up!” I forced myself through another mile and then hopped off, knowing that I did something and that was all that counted. I think I more than made up for it with Wednesday’s run and Thursday’s butt kicker.

How were your workouts this week?
Have you done any crazy difficult workouts this week?

Ive been doing a lot of yoga this summer and haven’t have a burn out yet (what I love about yoga!)
I’m in MAJOR need of some yoga!
Okay I want to tease you about your dude friend from the gym, but maybe he reads your blog? 😉
Isn’t it funny how we have days where we feel like we could conquer the world and then the next day we can’t run a mile? I’m so with ya there!
Also, one of these days I’m going to beat your miles on nike+!! 😉
