Am I right or what? This week has kicked my butt. Scratch that. Work has kicked my butt. Not in it being hard or busy but it being hard on my mentality and well-being. My chiropractor adjustments can hardly keep up. I’m trying to fix this and release the stress that it places on my body physically and mentally. I’ll get there.
But who’s complaining because it’s Friday and it’s my day off. TGIF has a whole new meaning! 😉
Anyway, I have some exciting things for you all. First of all, thank you to everyone who commented, tweeted, FaceBooked, emailed, etc in regards to my commitment. I’m honestly so excited for the journey I’m about to take over the next 12 or so weeks. It’s going to test my body physically and my mind mentally and emotionally. It might be one of the greatest roller coasters.
Anyway, before I get to my workouts, I’m excited to announce I’ve been asked to be a Pretty Muddy Ambassador!
What this means is that I’ll be participating in their Chicago race in September and helping promote this super fun and messy run.
They’re starting to announce their 2013 race dates so make sure to check out their website to see when they’re coming to your area! And if you’re looking to sign up, you can save $20 with this discount code: GIRLTIME – good through the end of the month.
Now onto my workouts…
Where’s the yoga?!

How were your workouts this week?
Have you ever done a Pretty Muddy or other muddy obstacle course race?

I’m so excited for your half!!! You are going to rock it! I just need to get over my cough so I can get back into my workouts. Walking and lifting light weights are my limitations for now. That is if I feel strong enough… BOO!
That’s awesome that you signed up! I’m doing my first half this spring, followed by a few more, and am totally psyched 😀 Best of luck with all of your training!
Happy Friday girlie! That’s awesome you’ve been asked to be an embassador! I’ve never participated in mud runs…and not sure if I ever will lol call me a wimp! 😉
