Baby let’s not live to see it fade

I’ll cancel all the plans I’ve ever made

I’ll drive and you can ride in the back seat

And we’ll call ourselves the flagship of the fleet

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

flagship

I sweat I have been listening to this song, “Flagship” by Jason Isbell on repeat for the last week. I kid you not. Aside from the fact that it’s relaxing as all get out, it’s another love song and we all know how much I have been loving those lately. 😉

In fact this past week, I even took a screen shot of the song, sent it to my friend Ida and asked her to learn to play it and then teach me how so I could play it. She probably thought I was kidding. I wasn’t.

If it hadn’t been such a whirlwind lately, I probably would have already looked up the chord progression to see if I could figure it out myself, whether on ukulele or guitar. Maybe both.

For now though, I need to master “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on uke…ha!

What are you listening to on repeat this week?

After seeing Garbage last week I’ve been listening to the reissue of their debut album, still love them and still get goosebumps with certain songs. 🙂

OMG how have I not heard this song yet? Ive gone back to the Lumineers this week. The Dead Sea is my fav. Even catch my boys singing it 🙂

I should probably tell you The Lumineers aren’t approved around these parts (anymore)…Sorry, it’s kind of a sore subject but hopefully I’ve just given you a new fav and something else for the boys to sing along. 😉
