Holiday Gift Guide Round Up

That was part of Sunday’s food prep – veggies for shrimp fried rice that I could eat for dinner throughout the week. I had some Sunday night, a smaller portion Monday night (with no shrimp since I didn’t have very many but topped with a runny egg), and have the rest to bring to work for dinner on my extra long days.

While we have to spend a portion of our day helping out the warehouse since things are so crazy, I’ve been choosing to go in early and stay late as extra support. Not only do I appreciate the overtime, but I’m enjoying the extra movement in my otherwise mostly sedentary workday.

As my body is getting used to it (and I have figured out the best two pairs of shoes to switch between), I feel like my muscles (and feet) are recovering faster and faster and getting more used to it. I’m starting to feel like I can start adding in a couple other (albeit shorter) workouts on top of all the walking…but I haven’t figured out if I want to attempt waking up earlier, taking away from my little bit of relax time before bed and/or staying up later. So for now, I’m keeping my workouts to the long walks around the warehouse during my work day. 😉

Anyway, I had such great feedback on last week’s gift guides that I wanted to make sure no one missed any much needed gift ideas! Meanwhile, if you have ideas on gifts for guys, throw them my way. They’re always the hardest to shop for!

Oh man, I was having a really hard time with that too. I ended up spending my night the other day just doing all my shopping online and getting it done.
