I’ve been a bit of a tease lately. At first it was only meant to be for a day or so but then LIFE got busy, as in I was enjoying LIFE and those around me; I was making new friends and seeing family; I was working out and running; I was enjoying the place where life put me.
Anyway, I shared a couple weeks ago there was an announcement of some sort and while it’s not a HUGE announcement, it’s definitely something fun to share.
While Sam and I were planning 50 States, we’d meet at this cute little chocolate shop/cafe/bar between our two houses, Ethereal Confections. We quickly became regulars, with the employees knowing our names, our story and our drinks. We also quickly became good friends with one of the owners and after joking one day about me taking over their social media, next thing I knew we were seriously talking about it.
So with that, I’m excited to share that I am the new Social Media Manager/Mogul/Person for Ethereal Confections in Woodstock, IL! (I’m clearly still working on my title…)
Ethereal is gluten and dairy-free and oh so delicious so I’m very excited to be working with them, even if from afar. I’ve been managing their social media for a couple weeks now and we’re already seeing growth and engagement.
What’s even more exciting to me is the possibility that lies ahead of me. The future opportunities to do similar things for other companies, business and brands that I love. I sure hope this is only the start. 🙂
