I seriously can’t believe it’s here. I think I was in disbelief most of yesterday but regardless of whether or not I believe it, today’s the day. It’s go time!
We made is to Springfield early last night.
I picked up my race bib, t-shirt and got a sneak peak at the awards for the winners. (All I’m striving for is the giant penny finishers medal!)
We checked into our hotel and I heated up my packed dinner. It sure was tasty!
I unpacked and laid out all of my stuff for the morning. My SpiBelt is no secret – it’s full!
I finished off the evening with a little pre-race foam rolling to work out any kinks from the drive down.
Then it was off to bed to squash a headache (pre-race jitters?) and get a good night’s rest.
With breakfast + coffee consumed, it’s time to get this show on the road.
