When we wake up tomorrow morning June is already going to have come and gone and I can hardly even believe it! I feel like just yesterday I was saying I couldn’t believe April was over, let alone May or now June! I feel like I say this every month (because I probably do) and because time keeps ticking away and I keep finding myself in this place waiting for something big to happen. I’m still hoping it does…and soon! 😉
But since we are about to enter a new month, I thought it’d be fun to take a little recap of June and get caught up on where things currently stand.
Wheat Belly – it’s very science-y so it’s slow moving for me but it’s also really interesting!
The past few weeks I’ve been all about Daughter – if you still don’t know who that is, find out now – SO good!
Current Nail Color:
Au natural – ha! 😉
Water in all it’s glory!
Salads! I can’t get enough and it’s often what I crave and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂
Current Favorite Show:
I can’t decide what I feel about this season of The Bachelorette. I’m watching but I wouldn’t say I’m totally drawn in – that’s probably for the best! 😉
Current Wish List:
My own place. And to keep reaching towards my dreams.
A massage! My IT bands have been so tight and daily foam rolling hasn’t quite been enough.
Iced coffee! Does that count? Because it’s sure been a favorite!
The people in my life pushing me to stay motivated and working towards my dreams and the life that I want and deserve to have.
Jeans and a long sleeve shirt with my hair in a messy bun…the single life, my friends. 😉
Making new friends and dog-sitting for one of my chiropractor’s dogs for a few days this up-coming week.
Favorite June posts:
What are a few of your currents?
We need to chat soon!! 🙂 I’ve been all over salads and smoothies! I want to read wheat belly!! Even though I’m already gluten free… lol
Not watching The Bachelorette, The Bachelor, The Paramour or The Concubine. 🙂
Stand-up: 6 minutes at Second City onstage this coming Friday night. Got to get that down.
3 minutes onstage at the Laugh Factory probably Wednesday night. Ditto.
Writing: 65,000 words into a novel. Will finish rough draft by end of July.
Interview: tomorrow for an honest-to-goodness job.
Acting: class 1 tonight.
I haven’t been loving this season of the Bachelorette, either. I think the guys are certainly nothing to write home about, which does not help.
You keep pushing! You will get there. Yesterday I moved back in with my parents (granted, it is only for a month), and times of transition—no matter how long–are so difficult (as we both have all too much experience with). Luckily, we both have eyes on bigger things, one step (one day? one hour?) at a time. 🙂
Also, I have only ever missed two or three seasons of The Bachelor/Bachelorette since the show started. (The very first season being one of them.) I am not ashamed.
I’m also watching The Bachelorette and I’m also not 100% sold yet.
Wheat belly sounds interesting even if it is sciencey.
I’m reading Intuitive Eating and a book by Joanne Harris, I forget the name.
