I’ve been thinking lately about how we’re all fighting a battle. It’s easy to get caught up in our own worries and problems and forget that those around us are fighting one too.
We don’t need to compare my journey to yours, my struggles to yours, because the fact doesn’t change. If it worries you, then it’s something you are facing.
Everyone keeps a darker place
To lose control, you’re not alone
At just the right moment at work last week, I heard “Keeping Your Head Up” by Birdy come on to Spotify. I’m pretty sure I played the song three or four times, listening to lyrics, losing myself in the song moment after moment.
You never think that you can fly
You’ll always swim against the tide
So today this song isn’t just for me; it’s for you too. It’s for anyone who is fighting a battle, regardless of the magnitude. Close your eyes and for a few minutes, just listen and lose yourself in the music. I promise you will walk away feeling stronger and a bit more inspired than when you first came here.
I needed this today!
Happy to help!

Glad it helped! 🙂
Oooooh< i've never heard this song before! Thank you so much for sharing. She reminds me a bit of Florence and the Machine, not sure why–maybe it's her voice? Style?
XOXO <so much of THOSE to YOU!
