Let’s catch up, shall we?
*EDITED TO ADD* I can’t believe I forgot to originally add this in the post…it was a huge reason I wanted to catch up with you all today! But I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at the Healthy Living Summit this year! Registration is open and I highly encourage you to sign up and of course, attend my session. 😉 I’m definitely a little nervous for it but it’s also such an exciting opportunity. I’m so excited the girls asked me to speak this year. My session is on Changing up Your Blogging: A Guide to Different Types of Posts. Last week I finished my final foundations class at CrossFit allowing me to attend any of the classes. I’ve been to 2 classes since then and I’m looking forward to many more. Not only is this testing me physically but it’s also testing me socially – making me step outside my comfort zone in more ways than one. This is a good thing.
A few of my friends (and chiros) have moved and I’m so sad! They’re doing great things for themselves and their families but it doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. 🙁
My sister and I threw a killer surprise party for my mom last weekend! We rented out a local coffee shop after they closed, brought in catering and invited family and friends and got some out of town friends/family to come too. Her expression is priceless and continued as she noticed every surprise person in the room. It was a great party!
I’ve got a new habit of starting each morning with a little extra quiet time. I break out my journal and just write for a few minutes. Nothing crazy, nothing long, just a little something to help me center myself. It’s been glorious and I find myself looking forward to it every morning now.
I’ve had the opportunity to try a couple Vega Sport products the last couple weeks. First I tried the Vega Sport Hydrator but I didn’t love it so they sent me the Vega Sport Performance Protein instead. I got it in vanilla and let me tell you, it’s very vanilla! It does have a bit of a chalky taste on it’s own but I’ve been mixing it with lots of fruits and veggies to make super delicious smoothies.
I’m all about finding quality plant-based fuel for my workouts and I feel so honored to have been given this opportunity to be a part of Vega’s #FuelYourBetter campaign. (Vega sent me these products for free but as always, all opinions are my own.)
That’s enough for now, I’m headed to Blend! 🙂
Let’s catch up – tell me something!

You’re all making me want to go to HLS too!
