I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned a few times my current binge – Gilmore Girls…from the beginning…episode by episode…season by season. And did I mention, I’m loving every minute of it?

But I started to notice something, a bit of nostalgia for college. I graduated 8 years ago (OH MY GOD, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!) and as Rory finishes up high school and is applying for jobs, I keep finding myself suddenly sucked back into that world, thinking about my senior year, the excitement of college, and then blinking and it all being over. I miss it.

I miss Boston and Berklee. I miss classes and homework and books and the excitement of what I was going to do with all of this once I was done.

Now before I get ahead of myself, the point of today isn’t to talk about my yearning to be back where I was what feels like a lifetime ago, it’s more about feeling proud. I love knowing when someone went to my college or is thinking about going (I guess that’s part of being an alum, isn’t it?) and while my whole time there wasn’t all cannolis and ice cream (though I admittedly ate my fair share of both), there is some great talent that enters and leaves that school and it’s always fun to find out about musicians who I like that stemmed from that school.

Like Lucius.

The new album ‘Good Grief’ is amazing and while I’m sharing “Madness” with you all today, please don’t stop there. Find them on Youtube, Spotify, iTunes…DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO KEEP LISTENING!

You’re welcome. 😉
