Work’s going well. My coworkers are all really nice and I’m enjoying my time getting to know them and making coffee again. It’s kind of crazy how steaming milk and pulling shots of espresso can be fun and in a way, relaxing. And honestly, it’s also the extent of my social life lately so it’s no wonder I’m enjoying it.
Anyway, I’ve been in a bit of a personal pity party this week after a couple different events, realizations and such came about. I’m trying to pull myself out of it so I’m going to keep things rather light the next few days – but if you have any extra positivity, please feel free to send it my way as it would be greatly welcomed and appreciated around these parts.
So, the motivational / inspirational / get-your-butt-in-gear / whatever you want to call them quotes are coming around today. Maybe you don’t need them, but I do. And honestly, I really think we all need a reminder on occasion.

What are some of your favorite motivational quotes?
How’s your weekend?

Hey friend! I really like your new blog header! You are so beautiful! 🙂
I also agree with making lattes and how it can be relaxing. I never got around to latte art, but if I ever do work at a coffee place again you can bet I will try!
Also, if you can’t tell by my Facebook page…I LOVE and NEED motivational quotes in my life. I think certain people just have that personality where they (I) think too much about things and too deeply and can tend to spiral downward easily. I’ve been on that track a bit this past week (notice only one blog post lol) but I’m climbing out of it and it’s a new week! New opportunities! New challenges! Bring em on! 🙂

Thank you!! You’re so sweet.
And yes, the motivational quotes thing is just more proof that we’re in many ways the same person. 😉
Hi! I like your blog. 🙂 I try to remember THIS > http://thedailyquipple.com/we-all-need-a-good-one-every-now-and-then < as often as I can.
1 – That IS a good one! Maybe I’ll have to watch a comedy later and get in a good belly laugh.
2 – Thank you and WELCOME! 🙂
CC (and weddings) were the extent of my social life in CL as well, but at least everyone is friendly. Pulling shots, steaming milk, and slinging lattes with pretty designs is actually really relaxing for me as well. There’s a little bit of creativity involved and you get to interact with people. Have fun!
I almost got my latte art heart back…almost.
