Music Gift Guide

While I had to work on Friday, we did get the opportunity to work from home. I’ve never been a Black Friday shopper, so I didn’t mind having to work vs being out shopping, but it was definitely nice to stay home and avoid any of the extra traffic from busy shoppers. The only downside really being that I didn’t leave my house the entire day. ha!

Come Friday night though I decided it was time to get in the holiday spirit myself so I broke out the decorations that I stuff in the closet just a couple weeks ago. Up went the tree, a couple of candles, a wreath on the door, and some Christmas lights above my chairs in the living room. Within just a few minutes my new place became a mini winter wonderland (okay, maybe that’s a bit extreme but you get the point, right?). 😉

Anyway, now that I’m starting to get into the holiday spirit and trying to figure out the gifts I want to give this year, I thought it would be fun to put together a few gift guides. All week I’ll be sharing a different themed gift guide so grab your hot chocolate, a notebook and let’s get our holiday shopping done early!

Up first…the music gift guide.

  1. Spotify Membership

Save them from ads interrupting their music and allow the ability to save playlists for offline mode. I’ve had a Spotify membership a few times and it’s totally been worth it, I miss it when I don’t have it!

2. Adele ’25’

HA! This is kind of a joke, but not really. It’s a good album and totally worth it!

3. Headphones

Who doesn’t like a nice new pair of headphones?!

4. Record Player + Records

I own a few records but I have no way to play them! There’s just something different about playing a record vs a MP3 or even a CD. I just love it and your fellow music loving friend will too!

5. GoPro Music Mount

Have you seen these? I have a GoPro I bought before hitting the road for 50 States and while I have a few mounts, I don’t have one of the music mounts. I could see just how cool this could be for a band/artist, especially if they’re on a budget making their own videos.

What would you get for your music loving friend or musician?

    Hi. Music fanatic over here…
Concert tickets are my fav gift to give! I am so about experiences thean actual tangible stuff.
I just found a beer made by one of my husband’s fav bands so I am totally buying a bottle (as well as a LP copy of the album)

I’m always curious what my music loving friends will think of albums that are so insanely popular. I tried to tell myself I wouldn’t buy it…but I own 21 and 22, so it seemed silly not to buy this one.

Honestly, I think it just depends on the artist and on the album. I DESPISE some popular albums but then there’s others that I enjoy and would promote.

I love the Spotify Membership – I would really want one of those! And I could also use a new pair of headphones since my daughter kind of took over my beats! Happy Monday

Right?! My parents gave me a 6 month membership last year and it was amazing. I had been paying for it but then needed to cut back expenses so it was the perfect gift. Now, I’ve been without the Premium Membership for 6 months and really miss it!
