Music Monday // I Will Wait

Happy Labor Day! 

Yesterday’s post wasn’t a lie, I was safely back home in my bed relaxing.  So much so that I couldn’t get out of bed for my planned run.  Oh well, it’s allowed to happen on occasion.  But I hope you guys enjoyed the fun posts from Brittany, Amanda and Heather over the last few days and thank you so much to those three ladies for helping me.  It was such a relief to have a few days pre-planned so I could just pull the last few things together and drive.  I’m so lucky to have such lovely friends in my life. 🙂

Anyway, now I’m back and looking forward to sharing my last few days in LA, the drive from LA to Chicago, and all my other normal musings.  Speaking of, I accidentally typed “music” instead of musings which is fitting seeing as it’s Music Monday… (That’s not some cheesy transition, that DID just happen.)

I’m really excited about this one!  So excited that I couldn’t wait until the whole album comes out on September 24th for me to share.  Because truth be told, every time this song came on the Shuffle on my iPod (in my 36 hour drive!), I turned it up, jammed out and belted every word!  And then I usually repeated it for good measure.

What?! It was often more effective than a cup or two of coffee!

But seriously, I am so excited for the new Mumford and Sons album Babel to be released.  I swear if they want to send me a pre-release copy I’d tell you guys aaaalllllll about it, but alas, for now, I share what I can – “I Will Wait.”

It doesn’t disappoint.  It’s Mumford and Sons in all their glory.  And if this is a sign of what’s to come on Babel – it won’t disappoint either.

Go ahead, play it again.  I won’t tell. 😉
