It’s going to be a long day, filled with a range of emotions. Why you ask? Because today is my last day at work, my last day with the company that has allowed me to stay afloat in LA, the place where I’ve made some amazing friendships and extended family. That’s today and that’s very bittersweet.
I’m going to get through the day with everyone’s support and good music. Because regardless of what industry I’m working in, good music is one of the best things and greatest ways to get through each day, whether it be good or bad.
And today I’m listening to Larsen B’s “Marilyn.” It’s another one of those songs that I’m not sure how I found it, but somehow I did and I’m glad it happened, and I’m even more glad it came up on my iPod to remind me of it’s existence. Because sometimes it’s good to find (or re-find) music.

I hope your last day was awesome friend! It’s funny because I just had my FIRST day at school yesterday.

Enjoy your last day!! I left my job of 7 years in June- I know how tough that can be! Especially when you’ve kind of “grown up” at your job! Your future is so bright though- I’m sure you’re excited! 🙂
PS- I’ll be in Boston in October (Greg’s dad lives there- we go often!) – that’s where you’re moving to, right? I need to email you. 🙂
I’ll be Chicago first for hopefully no more than a year and THEN I hope and plan to be in Boston. 🙂
