I can hardly believe we’re nearly a week into November! I’m sure I’m not alone in that though…this month is bound to bring on a lot of excitement, change, and busy-ness but I’m not ready to share on that just yet, so hang tight. 😉
What I am ready to share on though is the comeback of one of my favorite monthly features with my dear friend and blogger Amanda…everyone please join me in welcoming back My Thankful Thursdays!
Each week Amanda and I will be sharing what we are thankful for that week and including a linkup for you to add YOUR posts too! Not a blogger? Not a problem! Just leave your reasons to be thankful in the comments! 🙂
My plan is to share 3 things that I am thankful for that week…it could be something big or small or something in between. It’s easy for us to get caught up in life and forget to take a moment to be grateful so that’s exactly what we’re doing.
1. This Space (The Blog)
I know this may seem strange, but this blog has brought me so much joy and absolutely changed my life. I started it nearly 5 years ago and during a time of constant change, it’s been the one thing that has remained the same. It may sound crazy, but I’m so grateful for it.
2. Readers, Blends & Companies that Support Me/The Blog
Continuing on from the first, the TRIBE that has come from this little hobby of mine has been so amazing. I have made some amazing friends that I may not have otherwise known (coughAmandacough – as well as many others!), connected with readers who continue to come back to follow my journey, and had some amazing companies really get behind what I’m doing here. I know sponsored posts aren’t always the most fun to read, but I do my best to keep it in tune with the content you’d read here anyway and know that support helps keep this thing running and pay for my coffee habit. 😉
3. Friends and Family (All Across The World)
While once again continuing from the last one, this is an obvious that I can’t forget. Not only has the blog introduced me to some amazing people, I’ve moved several times in my life and have some amazing groups of friends still in those places. Also this past year I made new friends in 38 states and while I may not be in touch with most of them regularly, it’s comforting to know they’re there and they know my heart is always in the right place. And of course, I can’t forget my family who has been standing by me for the last 28 ½ years.
So many reasons to be thankful, this is just the tip of the iceberg!

This is a great idea for a linkup! I will definitely be participating in the next one 🙂
Great article! I’m thankful to just simply live the life I lead and have the amazing people I have in my life.
I am thankful for my health, my family, my boyfriend, our home, our dog, and my job.
Sounds like some great reasons to be thankful!
I love this! I did a Thankful Thursday post last November and loved it, and had no idea there was a linkup! I might need to participate in this next week! This week I’m thankful for my family, my students, and the fact that we have snow here in Alaska.
ALASKA! I visited Alaska this year and man, it’s just so beautiful there! Enjoy that snow! 🙂

It’s so wonderful to see so many different linkups that focus on an attitude of thanksgiving. Here’s a link to my own linkup, which obviously includes a list of things I’m thankful for!

I love November because of all the focus on gratitude instead of complaining. I do a Thankful Thursday on my blog, too!

So much to be thankful for! Thanks for sharing, friend!
Absolutely, girl!
It’s so important to take time to be thankful – I love this focus 🙂 I’m thankful that my inlaws are coming to Naples tomorrow – BABYSITTING!! Haha!
haha I’m probably babysitting for the boy’s son next week…I think he’s thankful for the free babysitter as well, though he’d probably rather be playing with us than at conferences for work. ha!
