What girl doesn’t love getting new shoes? Am I right? I swear it’s even better when you’ve been traveling for a few weeks, arrive at a destination and they’re sitting waiting for you! It’s the little things in life, I swear…
Needless to say I was pretty excited when the opportunity presented itself for me to try the new Asics Gel-Fit Sana through my partnership with FitFluential.
We’ve been staying in a hotel in Maryland (please explain to me how this was cheaper than a RV campground over Christmas? We’re obviously avoiding the usual Walmart parking lots…) and since they have a cute little fitness center, I figured it was the perfect time to give these babies a test drive!
I’m trying to get better about planning my week of workouts in an effort to feel a sense of routine and this past week I’ve definitely put a couple of good kick-your butt workouts together to put these shoes to the test!
One of my favorite things right off the bat was how light and flexible the shoes were! I was concerned about how they’d handle doing burpees but the inner lining adapts to and supports your foot. My only complaint when it came to the burpees was that the color started to peel off the toe and I really only did a few burpees. 🙁
Since we’re only about 45 minutes from DC, we decided to walk around the National Mall and see the sights. Obviously I had to wear my new shoes!
We walked around for a good hour or so, covering over two miles. I definitely put these shoes to the test and I must admit, I appreciate how they are so light, comfortable and quite versatile!
How do you put your training shoes to the test?
